I suppose that the government should not prioritize domestic issue over international issues. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

In recent years, more and more Japanese companies have expanding their businesses overseas, and Japanese travelers overseas are increasing. Therefore, it is important to solve international issues by diplomacy to protect the profit of the companies and to secure the safety of Japanese travelers in foreign countries.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that the government must prioritize domestic issues such as economic issues in particular because of Japan's prolonged recession. However, if we could solve international issues, the trade would be expanded and the foreign tourists would be attracted to Japan more, and it should have positive effects on the domestic economy.

In conclusion, I believe that the government should not prioritize domestic issue over international issues. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
