私は「今日の社会において倫理的価値は低下してきている」と思います。私の意見を2つの観点から説明したいと思います。その観点の一つは「この問題に対して社会がどう変わってきたか」、もう一つは「私の意見に対する想定される反論は何か」です。

まず初めに、社会は大きく変わってきています。過去の常識や経験が常に現代社会に適用できるとは限りません。社会の変化に応じて、私たちは考え方を変える必要があります。

時代の変化に伴って、人々の価値観は多様化してきました。人々は徐々に伝統的な家族の価値観や責任感を失ってきているように思います。さらに、人々は自分と他者の関係が社会にどのような影響を与えるのかをもはや気にしなくなっています。

次に、この問題は賛否両論あるものであり、全ての人が同じ意見に同意することはないと思います。それぞれの人にはそれぞれの立場や経験があります。異なる視点からの意見を無視するのではなく、それを踏まえて結論を出すことは大切なことです。

社会的な価値観が変化しただけ、という人もいます。しかし、若者は学校の先生や年配の人を尊敬しなくなり、それがたくさんの社会問題を引き起こしています。若者の道徳的価値を改善することこそが、よりよい社会を形成していくための第一歩だといえます。

結論として、私は「今日の社会において倫理的価値は低下してきている」と確信しております。加えて、社会をより良くするためには、この問題に関して社会で何らかの合意を形成することは良い考えかもしれません。以上です。

I suppose that moral values are on the decline in today's society. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

People's values have diversified as times has changed. I think that people have gradually lost traditional family values and sense of responsibility. Furthermore, they no longer care about how their interactions with others affect the society.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some people say that it is just the change of social value. However, young people has less respect for school teachers and elderly people　now, and it causes many social problems. So, as a first step to make the society better, young people's moral value should be improved.

In conclusion, I believe that moral values are on the decline in today's society. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
