I suppose that violence never be justified in support of a political cause. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

In the Japanese history, violence and military sometimes supported political insistence, and some of them are regarded as justice. The example is the attack to Edo bakufu by the new government at the end of the Edo period. However, we should consider that, at that time, the people did not have a political system where people's will was reflected.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

It is true that the current situation cannot be changed easily by peaceful politics. However, firstly, each of us should take steady actions, such as voting, based on the democratic rules to improve our society. We must consider the lives that would be lost in the political insistence with violence and military.
