まず初めに、社会は大きく変わってきています。過去の常識や経験が常に現代社会に適用できるとは限りません。社会の変化に応じて、私たちは考え方を変える必要があります。

昔は若いうちに結婚をしてたくさん子供を産むことが一般的でしたが、現在では晩婚化が進み、深刻な社会問題となりつつあります。そのためお見合い結婚によって成婚率を高めることは少子化対策にもつながり、出生率が増えることは高齢化社会を支えていく上でも効果的であると期待されています。

次に、この問題は賛否両論あるものであり、全ての人が同じ意見に同意することはないと思います。それぞれの人にはそれぞれの立場や経験があります。異なる視点からの意見を無視するのではなく、それを踏まえて結論を出すことは大切なことです。

晩婚化が進んだ背景は結婚に対する理想が高くなった結果であり、成婚率の低いといわれる現代のお見合い結婚は形式的なものに過ぎないという声もあります。しかし人口の少ない地方に住む人にとってはお見合い結婚は有効的な手段であり、地方産業を守り過疎化対策にも繋がると考えられています。

I suppose that arranged marriages have a place in modern society. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

Though it was common to marry when they were young and to have many children in old times, the trend towards late marriage is going to increase in modern times, which has become a serious problem in a society. As a result, to enhance the rate of marriages by arranged marriages will lead to measures against birthrate decline,and to increase birthrate is expected to be effective for supportting the coming of aging society.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that the background of the trend towards late marriage is the result of the exalted ideal for marriage,and the modern arranged marriages called a low probability of marriages are just formal. However,the arranged marriages are the effective means for people living in a provincial place, which will lead to protection for local industries and measures for depopulated areas.

In conclusion, I believe that arranged marriages have a place in modern society. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
