歴史は戦争、人間、文化で成り立っているため、感情移入せずに公平な立場を保って歴史を記述することは大変難しい、という人もいます。しかし、歴史的事実を中立な立場から調査、確認できる第三国を参加させることによって、歴史を客観的に書くことは可能だと思います。

I suppose that it is possible to write history objectively. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

History books has always been written subjectively in human history. Different viewpoints of historical facts have caused a lot of problems. For example, there is the issue between Japan and Korea, but in order to analyze the historical facts objectively, they established the committee where both Japan and Korea participated.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that it is very difficult for historical writers to remain fair without empathy because history is consisted of wars, humans and cultures. However, I think it is possible to write history objectively by involving a third country which can verify and investigate historical facts neutrally.

In conclusion, I believe that it is possible to write history objectively. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
