I suppose that combat sports such as boxing should be banned. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

Combat sports have been evolving, and new styles such as K-1 and PRIDE are popular. These combat sports seem to be more dangerous compared to other sports, but everyone has a right to enjoy watching and participate in the sports.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some may say that combat sports seem to be so violent and dangerous that it has a bad effect on the society and especially on children. However, many violent scenes are shown on movies, and some other sports and activities such as ski jump and sky diving are also dangerous. It is unreasonable to ban only combat sports while others are allowed.

In conclusion, I believe that combat sports such as boxing should be banned. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
