まず初めに、社会は大きく変わってきています。過去の常識や経験が常に現代社会に適用できるとは限りません。社会の変化に応じて、私たちは考え方を変える必要があります。

I suppose that crime is the bigger threat to society. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

The development of the industry has caused a lot of environmental destruction. However, the industry has also developed environmental technology such as eco-friendly cars and energy-saving measures. It is possible to conserve environment to a certain degree with the effort by the society.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that crime is on the decrease. However, it is still difficult to prevent unanticipated crimes such as phantom slasher, and everyone could get involved in such crimes. We have only limited measures to avoid from it.

In conclusion, I believe that crime is the bigger threat to society. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
