次に、この問題は賛否両論あるものであり、全ての人が同じ意見に同意することはないと思います。それぞれの人にはそれぞれの立場や経験があります。異なる視点からの意見を無視するのではなく、それを踏まえて結論を出すことは大切なことです。

NHKは中立でいられる放送局であり、両者は本質的に異なるものであるという意見もあります。しかしながら、テレビの受信料は例えそのテレビに満足をしていなくても、受信料を支払わなければなりません。一方で、民放は視聴者を惹きつける番組制作に努力しており、そこには格差があります。番組に不満があれば、視聴者が受信料を支払いたくはないでしょう。

I suppose that I am opposite to TV license fees. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

A TV station operated by a subscription fee from TV viewers such as NHK tends to be contentious because people who don't watch its program at all cannot refuse to pay the fee. More people has hardly watch TV due to the spread of Internet. Therefore, it is not reasonable to force people to pay license fees.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that NHK is a television station that can keep neutrality, and the two are substantially different. However, whether or not viewers are satisfied with their TV programs, they must pay TV license fees. They don't want to pay license fees if they are dissatisfied with its programs. On the other hand, commercial broadcasting makes great effort to make their programs attractive to viewers. There is disparity in the quality between the two.

In conclusion, I believe that I am opposite to TV license fees. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
