I suppose that drug companies should provide medicines cheaply to developing countries. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

Many developing countries are still too poor to supply minimum medicine though medical science has rapidly developed in recent years. Drug companies have a major role in order to improve medical service in these areas.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that it is difficult to use medicine properly in developing countries without advanced medical facilities. However, it is important for even the poor in developing countries to get medicine cheaply, to learn how to use it and to acquire knowledge of elementary medicine. Spread of disease can be prevented by improving medical knowledge such as having vaccination or taking medicine properly.

In conclusion, I believe that drug companies should provide medicines cheaply to developing countries. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
