まず初めに、社会は大きく変わってきています。過去の常識や経験が常に現代社会に適用できるとは限りません。社会の変化に応じて、私たちは考え方を変える必要があります。

次に、この問題は賛否両論あるものであり、全ての人が同じ意見に同意することはないと思います。それぞれの人にはそれぞれの立場や経験があります。異なる視点からの意見を無視するのではなく、それを踏まえて結論を出すことは大切なことです。

出産後職場復帰がしにくかったり、男性は育児休暇がとりにくい現状が未だにあるため、男女雇用機会均等法は不十分である、という声もあります。しかしながら、かつては実質的に男性の仕事であった社長やパイロットになる女性が増えてきています。女性の社会進出はますます増えるにつれて、世論の流れは性差別反対の方に向かっていくでしょう。

結論として、私は「社会は性差別をなくすことはできる」と確信しております。 加えて、社会をより良くするためには、この問題に関して社会で何らかの合意を形成することは良い考えかもしれません。以上です。

I suppose that society will ever be free of gender bias. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

Until recently, majority said that men should work and women should bring up children and do housework at home. However, the Equal Employment Opportunity Law does not allow companies to choose applicants by gender. As a result, women are given more opportunities to work after marriage and childbirth.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that the Equal Employment Opportunity Law is not enough because it is still difficult for women to come back to their former position and for men to take maternity leave. However, more women have become presidents and pilots, which used to be virtually limited to men. As women participate in the workforce more, the tide of public opinion may turns against gender bias.

In conclusion, I believe that society will ever be free of gender bias. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
