結論として、私は「大都市がもっと環境に考慮することは可能である」と確信しております。 加えて、社会をより良くするためには、この問題に関して社会で何らかの合意を形成することは良い考えかもしれません。以上です。

I suppose that it is possible to make large cities more environmentally friendly. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

In recent years, urban development has caused many problems such as air pollution, global warming and water pollution. Due to the problems, the ecological system of animals and plants and the ozone layer has been damaged, and our health is exposed to danger. It is necessary that each of us should think about environment seriously and should reuse things and reduce waste as much as possible.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that large cities make great effort to conserve environment such as promoting eco-friendly cars. However, there are more measures to do for environment. It is possible to reduce CO2 emission and energy consumption by saving electricity and use public transportation instead of cars. It conserves environment.
