私は「ワーキングプアを助けるためにもっと多くのことがなされるべきである」と思います。私の意見を2つの観点から説明したいと思います。その観点の一つは「この問題に対して社会がどう変わってきたか」、もう一つは「私の意見に対する想定される反論は何か」です。

まず初めに、社会は大きく変わってきています。過去の常識や経験が常に現代社会に適用できるとは限りません。社会の変化に応じて、私たちは考え方を変える必要があります。

近年派遣社員や契約社員といった非正規雇用が増えつつあり、ワーキングプアとよばれる人たちが増えつつあります。中には正社員と変わらない労働環境にありながら低い賃金しかもらえなかったり、働いても生活保護と変わらない最低限の賃金しかもらえない現状があります。このような事態は、労働意欲を低下させる可能性があるといえます。

次に、この問題は賛否両論あるものであり、全ての人が同じ意見に同意することはないと思います。それぞれの人にはそれぞれの立場や経験があります。異なる視点からの意見を無視するのではなく、それを踏まえて結論を出すことは大切なことです。

不景気の影響で企業もまた厳しい状況にあり、ワーキングプアはやむをえないという意見もあります。しかしながら労働意欲を低下させるような労働環境は、経済発展にも悪影響を及ぼしかねません。政府は企業の利益を守りながら、労働環境を改善するための政策を施行していく必要性が求められています。

結論として、私は「ワーキングプアを助けるためにもっと多くのことがなされるべきである」と確信しております。 加えて、社会をより良くするためには、この問題に関して社会で何らかの合意を形成することは良い考えかもしれません。以上です。

I suppose that more should be done to help the working poor. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

In recent years, the non-regular employment such as temporary employees or contract employees is increasing, and the working poor is also increasing. Though some of them have same works as well as regular employees, they get less wages than regular employees or get subsistence wages as well as public assistance. These situations are likely to decline motivation relating to working.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that it is believed that the conditions of enterprises remain severe, and the working poor can't be helped under the circumstances.However, the situation declining motivation to work may bring a bad influence to economic development. Therefore, the goverment should carry out policies to improve the working environment with protecting business interests.

In conclusion, I believe that more should be done to help the working poor. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
