環境破壊による動植物の絶滅は、生態系を崩壊させており、もはや食い止めることはできないという意見もあります。しかし近年絶滅を防ぐための環境の保全、動植物の乱獲の防止、絶滅種の保護といった様々な対策も行われています。諸国はワシントン条約のような国際的な取り組みを強化していく必要が求められています。

結論として、私は「動植物の絶滅は避けることはできる」と確信しております。 加えて、社会をより良くするためには、この問題に関して社会で何らかの合意を形成することは良い考えかもしれません。以上です。

I suppose that the extinction of some plant and animal species is evitable. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

In recent years, because of the rapid changes of global environment, the extinct plant and animal species have been rapidly increasing. The environment that surrounds the animals and plants is changing for the worse because of human activities such as environmental destruction, water pollution, global warming, and non-native species. However, our efforts make it possible to improve these situations, and each consciousness is important.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that the extinct plant and animal species caused by environmental destruction may destroy the ecosystem, and it is difficult to make it stop. However, in recent years, there are a lot of various measures for the prevention of extinction such as environmental conservation, and prevention of overfishing or overhunting, and the protection of the extinct species. Therefore, countries are required to enhance their international efforts such as the Washington Treaty to tackle the issue of the extinct plant and animal species.

In conclusion, I believe that the extinction of some plant and animal species is evitable. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
