私は「政府の検閲は正当化されない」と思います。私の意見を2つの観点から説明したいと思います。その観点の一つは「この問題に対して社会がどう変わってきたか」、もう一つは「私の意見に対する想定される反論は何か」です。

まず初めに、社会は大きく変わってきています。過去の常識や経験が常に現代社会に適用できるとは限りません。社会の変化に応じて、私たちは考え方を変える必要があります。

表現の自由は世界で広く尊重されるようになってきましたが、未だ情報を検閲している政府があります。もし国民が自由に自分の意見を表現できないのであれば、それは基本的人権を否定しているものであると言えるでしょう。

次に、この問題は賛否両論あるものであり、全ての人が同じ意見に同意することはないと思います。それぞれの人にはそれぞれの立場や経験があります。異なる視点からの意見を無視するのではなく、それを踏まえて結論を出すことは大切なことです。

政府の検閲は国の統制をはかる上では重要なことであるという意見もあります。しかしながら政府の検閲はその国にとって不都合な情報を隠したり、歴史的な真実を隠蔽していることがあります。それは他の国々に対して不信感を与え、しばしば国際社会からの批判の的となっています。

結論として、私は「政府の検閲は正当化されない」と確信しております。 加えて、社会をより良くするためには、この問題に関して社会で何らかの合意を形成することは良い考えかもしれません。以上です。

I suppose that government censorship can not ever be justified. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

Freedom of expression has now widely respected in the world, but some governments still censor information. If people cannot freely express their opinions, it can be said that the censorship denies the fundamental human rights.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that censorship by a government is necessary to unify the country. However, censorship often suppresses negative information for the country and obscures historical truth. That gives other nations a sense of distrust and is often criticized by the international community.

In conclusion, I believe that government censorship ever be justified. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
