I suppose that students would benefit from stronger discipline at schools. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

Though it was general that the people in a neighborhood had parented children at a time in the past, children who receives no discipline from even his parents are increasing in modern society. It is likely to have an adverse effect on the shaping of their character and boost the number of immoral children.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that school education is to study subjects, and parenting should be done at home. However, school is a place for communal life and for acquireing cooperativeness and a sense of communication for children. Therefore, it is important to form their characters by the discipline at school, which is different from home education.

In conclusion, I believe that students would benefit from stronger discipline at schools. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
