I suppose that women are not portrayed accurately on TV today. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

In recent years, drama and a TV commercial have broadcasted the unrealistic women for dramatic impact. Because of their higher priority on securing their places within the TV ratings race, they tend to create the excessive production such as women's celebrity marriage and over-sentimental appearance. As the reality is that women's social advancement and tendency to marry later are increasing, the excessive production of TV almost never happens in the actual life.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that an increase in women's incomes and social advancement may lead to their life of extravagant luxury and celebrity.However, actress used for a TV commercial is prone to be out of touch with reality because of skin and bones and a sexy expression, it may often provide viewers a feeling of strangeness.

In conclusion, I believe that women are not portrayed accurately on TV today. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
