Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

In Japan's health-care system, as all the people must purchase health insurance and nation pays a part of their medical expenses, they can get medical care at the lower price compared with other nations. However, as rapid rise in medical costs for the elderly has increased pressure on national finances, Japan's health-care system is likely to lead to a breakdown of the system.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that Japan's medical care may offer high technology. However, as many health care providers may endure difficult working conditions, it is likely to drive them to an early grave by working so hard and cause the medical malpractice.

In conclusion, I believe that Japan's health-care system needs to be reformed. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
