私は「進行中の都市化に反対である」と思います。私の意見を2つの観点から説明したいと思います。その観点の一つは「この問題に対して社会がどう変わってきたか」、もう一つは「私の意見に対する想定される反論は何か」です。

まず初めに、社会は大きく変わってきています。過去の常識や経験が常に現代社会に適用できるとは限りません。社会の変化に応じて、私たちは考え方を変える必要があります。

近年人口は都市に集中する傾向にあり、たくさんの商業ビルや高速ビルが建設されつつあります。都市化により生活水準の向上をもたらしている一方で、大気汚染や交通渋滞なども問題となっています。

次に、この問題は賛否両論あるものであり、全ての人が同じ意見に同意することはないと思います。それぞれの人にはそれぞれの立場や経験があります。異なる視点からの意見を無視するのではなく、それを踏まえて結論を出すことは大切なことです。

都市化は経済発展の水準を図る重要な目安であり、環境問題はやむを得ないという意見もあります。しかしながら、都市化は所得、教育、就業面などの地方格差を生み出しており、結果的に過疎化を招くことにもつながっています。政府はこれらの問題の地域格差を緩和していくべきであるといえるでしょう。

結論として、私は「進行中の都市化に反対である」と確信しております。 加えて、社会をより良くするためには、この問題に関して社会で何らかの合意を形成することは良い考えかもしれません。以上です。

I suppose that I an against ongoing urbanization. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

Recently, the population has been concentrated into urban areas, a lot of the commercial buildings and tall buildings have been constructed. On the one hand the urbanization has raised people's standard of living, but on the other hand traffic congestion and air pollution are a major problem in the city.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that as the urbanization may give an important indication of economic development, environmental issues can't be helped. However, as it has caused the gap between the urban areas and the suburb areas in income, education and employment, the depopulation is consequently progressing in the suburbs. The goverment should alleviate regional disparities in those problems.

In conclusion, I believe that I an against ongoing urbanization. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
