I suppose that printed books and newspapers are destined to die out. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

In recent years, the growth of the internet has led to digitization of books and newspapers. As it also provides user the reasonable subscription fee and a high-convenience database retrieval system more than printed books and newspapers, digitization of books and newspapers has been in high demand.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.
