次に、この問題は賛否両論あるものであり、全ての人が同じ意見に同意することはないと思います。それぞれの人にはそれぞれの立場や経験があります。異なる視点からの意見を無視するのではなく、それを踏まえて結論を出すことは大切なことです。

中には世界で一つの超大国こそが世界の問題解決に向けて主導権を握っていくべきであるという意見もあります。しかしながら、超大国を目指すべく軍事力を強化している国家も増えてきています。このような国が超大国になれば、時に問題を解決するために平和的外交ではなくむやみに軍事力を行使することもあり、世界の平和にとって重大な脅威となるといえるでしょう。

結論として、私は「たった１つの世界超強大国を持つことに反対である」と確信しております。 加えて、社会をより良くするためには、この問題に関して社会で何らかの合意を形成することは良い考えかもしれません。以上です。

I suppose that I am against having only one world superpower. I'd like to explain my opinion from the two perspectives. One of the perspectives is how the society has changed regarding this issue, and another is what is a possible counterargument against my opinion.

Firstly, the society has changed largely. The past common sense and experience are not always applicable to the modern society. We need to change our way of thinking as the society changes.

After the post-Cold War period, the United States had emerged as a superstate with the military forces and economical power. As a superstate has a big influence on the world, there will be both positive and negative effects. Therefore, if we had only one world superpower, negative ecomonical impacts would be largely on the world and even the risk of a global recession would occur when a superstate declines.

Secondly, this topic is controversial and I think everyone never agrees on a single opinion. Everyone has each position and experience. It is better to consider opinion from different viewpoints before concluding than to ignore it.

Some say that only one world superpower would take the initiative toward finding solutions to global issues. However, some of nations have strengthened the military forces to become only one world superpower. If such nations had only one world superpower, it would often use the military power for settling solutions recklessly without the peaceful diplomacy and constitute a grave menace to the peace of the world.

In conclusion, I believe that I am against having only one world superpower. In addition to that, it may be a good idea to make some kind of consensus in the society about this issue in order to make the society better. Thank you.
